Frequently Asked Questions

What kinds of music can you mix/master?

We have experience in most styles and genres including Hip-Hop, R&B, Neo-Soul, Reggae, Acoustic, EDM as well as commercial/voiceover work.

How will you know what I want my mix or master to sound like?

We strongly encourage you to give us as much information as possible when you want your mix or master done.

Can I give you an example of a song I want to sound like?

Please do! Giving an example is a great way to help us understand your vision.

Should I send my rough mix with my files?

Absolutely! A rough mix says 1,000 words when we’re trying to decide what you want your finished mix to sound like.

Will I be charged for revisions or mix/master changes?

We offer free revisions within reason. Major changes such as changing songs parts around or adding parts will be subject to additional charges

Do you do refunds?

Due to the nature of the business we do not offer refunds. However, we do offer free revisions to ensure that your are 100% satisfied with our work.

What should I include with my audio files?

You should include a rough mix for reference and any cover art you would like embedded.

Can I send Midi Files?

No. We only accept audio files. You must render any midi tracks to audio before sending.

Should I send files with reverb and effects already printed?

For the best results, we prefer clean, dry trackouts. You can print any special effects to their own separate tracks if you’d like but things like reverbs and compression printed on a vocal track makes it near impossible to eq and compress properly.

What will I receive when the job is done?

You will receive a High Quality Mp3 and Wav File for the full song and each additional version.

How do I export tracks or stems?

Below are some youtube links that show how to export audio files for the DAWs we support: Cubase ProTools & Logic
